Misplaced Appetite is made in collaboration with my younger self. It consists entirely of magazine clippings I collected when I was a teenager. Each page lovingly filed under some benign category such as musicians, color schemes, or travel. These folders were eventually found thirty years later by mother, tucked away somewhere in the back of some closet in my old bedroom. Of course she immediately mailed them to me. As my 40-something self paged through each file, I quickly realized they were filled with guys I thought were hot at the time (and mostly still do today).
