"Yellow Fern" is a piece that reflects nature; how powerful nature is, and can be, and how it influences me in my art and book making. Ideas flourish in everyday life for me, as I absorb in walking, or on a train, all these visual images, the forms, colors, perhaps of a garden, window box. This particular piece was a cyanotype print, single page paper, with pastel added, then folded into a book with the paper edges representing curves of the fern leaves.
